The research landscape.

Latin American clinical research is concentrated in academic hospitals and national institutes; led by Brazil, Argentina and Mexico, which together host the large majority of the region's registered studies.

The twenty-two institutions below carry the deepest trial pipelines in the region. They form the landscape our tools are built for: multi-country programs where sponsors, sites and reviewers need a shared, governed record of the work.

Top 22 · ranked by studies listing each institution as a site

Ranked by the number of unique studies listing each institution; including its known name variants and sub-facilities; as a site in ClinicalTrials.gov, retrieved September 2026. Spelling variants are merged per institution, the same convention as our Gulf page. The US ranking on our USA page uses a different metric (actively recruiting trials); the two are not directly comparable. Counts change as studies register, so only the ranking is shown.

Our operations

A partner network, not a single office.

Our LATAM operations run through a partner network across six countries.

In Chile; the region's sixth hub; we work with Laboratorios SAVAL, the country's largest pharmaceutical manufacturer, headquartered in Renca, Santiago. LATAM sites are particularly active in oncology and cardiometabolic trials, where AEcelerate EHR connectors and the survival outcomes solution are most heavily used.
